Hi, my name is Markus. My friends and I have been investigating events of the Holocaust that took place in Vilnius. As you may already know too many Lithuanian Jews were murdered during the years of Nazi occupation. There are numerous sites that tell us of the horrendous killing that took place.

In March 2008, we had the opportunity to take part in an interview with a survivor from the Vilnius ghetto. We would like to share some of his story with you. We would also like to show you some of the sites we have visited. We believe pictures tell a thousand words.

Our school has also written many stories about the Holocaust and the role of ordinary people during that time. Come and visit our site and read some of what my schoolmates have written.
