| Rules for Discussion | ||
History Speaks provides a forum for exchange and discussion on issues of prejudice, discrimination and xenophobia using references from the events of the Holocaust and genocide. We hope you will be able to examine human behaviour, and the causes and consequences of the hate and social exclusion in a society. We would expect the participants in the forums to adhere to rules of discussion so that it is a safe and inclusive place for everyone. 1. Always read the subject matter first before joining a discussion. 2. As much as possible, please refer to participants by their name or ID. Do not pass email or personal details to anyone online. 3. Courtesy is expected at all times. Participants found to be using abusive language will be suspended from the discussion rooms and from using the History Speaks site. 4. You must be registered with a school or establishment to join the discussion. If you wish to take part in an exhange discussion with Romanian, Lithuanian or Rwandan schools, please email Chantelle Meckenstock on historyspeaks@holocaustcentre.net. |
